Summer Recap

It is hard to think that our summer is nearing the end. It has been a great couple of months. We have tried to keep busy, but had a good time relaxing, and not over-booking ourselves either. Here are just a few of the events of the summer...
Computer time... gotta have it.
Late-overs with the cousins. Boston, Meili, and Conner. Good thing Mei has a necklace on, or we wouldn't be able to tell them apart.
Tyler and Riley at the top of Grandeur Peak
Fun times on Grandpa Dallan's boat

 Swimming and G'ma & G'pa Price's pool with cousins
Abby & Jane lounging in the water
Super Sports at Dimple Dell! Doing things with friends is always more fun!
Riley's giant cabbage that he grew. He should have taken it to the fair.
Swimming at  Grandma's with friends: Summerhays & Beccera's
Meili not feeling so good, so she pretty much camped out on the living room floor for 3 days
 Tracy Aviary

Playing in the streams at Liberty Park
Football!! Riley is loving his team, and is getting really good. Our "family time" has turned into meeting at the park from 6-8 every night during practice. We love it! GO Hawks!!
 Boondocks w/ the fam
Tyler and Abby racing on the go-carts. I love Abby's expression!

Mini golf! Meili loves being in on all the action!

 Playdough people
Draper Days... They had the coolest thing ever! "Walk on Water"! They had these gigantic bubbles that you can get in, then they filled it full of air. You can run on the water, and you look like a hamster in a plastic ball. The kids could not get enough of them. Check them out at walkonwaterusa.com. SO COOL!!
Included in our summer adventures, but not pictured above: Lake Powell, Bear Lake, Las Vegas, Real game, Scout camps, Cowabunga Bay, Birthday parties, Lemonade stands, water fights, piano lessons, playing with friends, parks, having movie parties, relaxing in front of the t.v. and just having fun!

All in all, it has been a pretty good summer. My kids have been the BEST at helping around the house and always doing what they are asked. I feel pretty lucky to be able to spend so much time with my kiddos. I am going to love having them back in school, but I am sure going to miss all of our fun summer days. I guess more fun is always coming our way!!

What a great summer! I am sorry we didn't get to go to Tracy Aviary and Liberty Park with you. I hope you and the kids have a great first week of school!
