Happy Anniversary

Yesterday, December 28, was actually our anniversary, but I just didn't get a second to post anything. Tyler and I had fun watching our wedding video and looking at our wedding album with our kids. I can't believe it has been 8 years. My gosh, that seems like a long time! I wanted to post some pics of our wedding day... I know, I look just a little bit chubby, and Tyler is 25 lbs. lighter here. We have both changed quite a bit. I am so lucky to have Tyler for my husband. Here are just a couple of reasons I love him SOOOOOOO much...

* He is so handy around the house (he can fix anything!!)
* He always makes sure our house is clean when we go to bed every night
* He makes dinner for me EVERY Sunday
* to add to that, he is an Amazing cook!! (especially Chinese food)
* Riley totally idolizes his dad
* Abby is tied around his little finger, and is his little princess
* Jacob pretends he is talking to "dada" on the phone all day long
* He is SO patient with me- especially while being pregnant
* He loves me no matter how I look- again, especially while being pregnant :)
* He honors his Priesthood
* He LOVES his calling (Young Men's President), and would do anything for his boys
* He loves me!!

I truly am so lucky to have you Ty!! I love you, and I am so grateful for you in my life!!!!

Temple Square

Tyler and I took the kids to Temple square last night, along with his friend Dave from work. I was a little reluctant, because it was so could and windy at our house. We decided to just go for it, and were so happy that we did. The weather downtown was perfect- cold, but at least no wind. The kids had fun, and loved seeing all the lights. Tyler's office is right by the Gateway, so we stopped there afterwards for hot chocolate, and yummy christmas treats!  It was a fun night, and helped me get into the spirit of Christmas.
Jacob couldn't get enough for the Christus. He kept saying, "Oweee", and pointing to Jesus' hands and feet. It was so sweet.

We love sledding!!

Thank goodness for the snow!! My kids have been dying to go sledding. We have an awesome hill right down the street from our house that is perfect! Our friends the Becerra's came with us, and the kids had a ball. I forgot how hard it is climbing up the hills- carrying my 18 month old, plus being almost 6 months pregnant. I wish I was in better shape!

Jakey had fun, and kept saying, "gan, gan" (meaning again, again)

Santa Clause is coming to town

Grandma and Grandpa price had their annual Christmas party, with the guest of honor- Santa!! The kids were so excited, and Santa was awesome!  He told a cute story and got the kids  really involved. They had a ton of fun. They were even looking out the window to see if they could see Santa and his reindeer taking off into the snowy night.

Dancing Queen

Abby's dance teacher decided to do the Christmas recital differently this year. All parents were invited to the last 15 minutes of your child's dance class during the week to see them perform their dances. They were asked to wear something black, red, or green. This made things SO convenient. No buying expensive costumes, sitting through 2 hours of other little people's dances just to see your daughter's 2 minutes of glory, and having to add ONE more thing to our lives. Abby did a cute ballet and tap number. She LOVES going to dance, and I am so proud of how good she is. She goes w/ two of her best friends, Eva and Jane, so it is really fun for her. I love my little ballerina!

It's a BOY!!!!!

I had my 20 week ultrasound yesterday, and found out we are having a boy! We are so excited to add one more little guy to our family. Our boys have been SO fun, and I am really happy for Jacob to have a little brother. Now, if you ask Abby, she might tell you differently. She was quite upset when I first told her, and let me know that she was NOT HAPPY about this whole thing. I think it is starting  to sink in though, and she is now acting ok with it. I know she will love the baby to pieces to matter what. It's crazy to think that I am going to have 4 kids!! I love being a mom more than anything, and I am excited to have another little baby.

Big helpers

One of Abby's favorite things to do lately is feed Jacob his bottle. I think she is getting in the "motherly mode" since she knows our baby is coming in the next few months. He looks almost as big as she does in this picture!

Along with Abby, Jakey is being the best big helper to Elmo, his new favorite buddy! He loves changing his diaper (I didn't know Elmo needs diapers), and putting him to bed. He is so cute! Hopefully he will be like this to his new baby.

Christmas card?

So after I got the kids all dressed on Sunday morning, I realized that they were all dressed alike, and looked like they were dressed in their "Christmas best." I was laughing because I always end up dressing them alike for church. Whether it's matching ties, dresses,  whatever- and I don't mean to. It just happens that way. Abby's dress and Jacob's tie match almost exactly- not planned! I must admit that even though they look alike, they are pretty darn cute!

Let it snow...

I have never seen such excited kids before as I did yesterday when Abby and Riley got up in the morning and saw the snow falling. Abby was sad that she had to go to preschool, and couldn't go outside to play right away . I promised her she could play when she got home, so she was ok. Jakey realized what happens when he keeps taking his gloves off. Do you think he will remember next time?
Yeah!! One more boy to help shovel this winter!
Riley was having so much fun showing Jacob how to eat snow, and the right way to catch snowflakes on your tongue. What are big brothers for?
Cousins Kaden and Avery stopped by in the afternoon, right in time for all of them to go out and play together. Fun, fun, fun!

Super heros

My kids all wanted to be super heros together, then Riley decided to be Rafael, the Ninja Turtle instead. He is still a super hero though, according to Riley. "All he does is fight crime, and keep people safe. Plus, he likes pizza." OK. I guess that works!

Happy Halloween!!

Halloween is always a crazy day for us, but it is so fun!! I had to go help in Abby's preschool class in the morning for her party, then I took the kids to Tyler's work to Trick-or Treat. I don't have those pictures because I used his camera at his office. The kids LOVE going to see their daddy at work!! On our way home, we stopped at Grandpa Price's office, who gave us even MORE candy! I swear I was done at this point. I can only handle my kids having so much sugar. We had a quiet afternoon (thank goodness). Jacob finally got his nap, and the kids watched a movie. We had dinner with some friends, then were off trick-or-treating for the next while.

I am not sure why my pics got put in this order when I posted them, but whatever. This pic of Jakey was when he was all done for the night. He didn't want the fun to end, so he kept knocking on our door, and burst in yelling "Teet" (I think he was meaning TREAT, as in Trick-or Treat). Riley and I were laughing so hard. So of course he kept doing it over, and over again.

The boys were tired, and pretty much just crashed after a fun night out.
The kids love going to visit Grandpa at work- especially on Halloween!!
We met my mom, brother Chris, and sis-in-law Jamie with their boys at my Dad's office. The cousins always have so much fun together!! Luke Lloyd (Cowboy's football player) came with us. He had a sleepover the night before, and wanted to spend the day with us too. We love you Luke!

Fall Fun!!

We took the kids to Farnsworth Farms last week. We had a lot of fun going on a hay ride, eating donuts, drinking apple cider, and topping the night off with watching "The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" which they projected on their delivery truck. We saw a lot of our neighbors there, and also found out that Tyler's sister and her family were planning on going, so we had a fun night with friends and family!!

REAL Salt Lake, here I come!

Riley's soccer finished last Saturday, and he did so good in his game. He improved so much this season, and loved every minute of it. He was always excited to tell us how many goals he got after each game. I think his favorite part was getting another trophy to add to his collection. This was a typical Riley pose after he scored.

Tagged

I was tagged by my friend Kriss, who said you are supposed to post the eighth picture in your tenth folder. This is the picture that came up...

This was Abby on her 3rd birthday. She had a Princess birthday party, and had all of her friends dress up in their favorite princess dress-up. Of course she had to wear a pink dress (still her favorite color).

I tag Mary Ann, Cherlyn, Jadi, and whoever else wants to do this tag. It was actually fun to see what picture popped up.

Service with a SMILE

Tyler wanted to take a treat to some of our neighbors on Sunday night, so Abby decided she wanted to go. I just couldn't resist taking her picture in her pajamas and snow clothes. It was freezing outside, but she said she was "brave". She is such a sweetie!

Cousin Late-over

Two of my sister-in-laws, Jenni and Turia and I have been doing the best thing ever. We swap baby sitting for dates. One night of the month I will watch all of the cousins at my house so the other couples can go out on a date without having to pay a baby sitter. It may seem a little crazy during the play date, especially with 9 grandkids now. But with my husband there, it really isn't that bad. Paying baby sitters can get so expensive, so this is a good way to save a little cash, plus the kids LOVE being together.

First snowfall

Riley and Abby woke up so excited on Sunday morning to see the snow falling. I had just gotten out of the shower, and noticed that ALL of the snow clothes were strewn all over the house. They were dying to go out and play. Normally I would say "no" since it was a Sunday, but I just couldn't resist their enthusiasm. They were just bound to make the world's biggest snowman (with 1 1/2 inches of snow?) , and already looking forward to coming in afterwards to hot chocolate. The funniest was when they came in looking for their sleds. I guess this was funny because our yard is flat. I had no idea what they were going to do with them. Oh well. Kids will be kids!!

One more...

I guess it's about to time to announce that we are adding another little person to our family. Yup, I'm pregnant! I am really excited to have four kids, but at the same time, that thought just about blows my mind! Three has been so fun, I guess what's one more to the mix? I am due April 26, which makes me about 12 weeks along. I am already starting to pooch out a little- not fair. My doctor says that my body just knows know what to do, so it isn't wasting any time. We told the kids last night for family night, and they were so excited. They first drew a picture of our family as it is, then after we told them, they added the baby in my tummy. They both think it is a girl, and were coming up with girl names last night. Riley kept coming back to "Mylie", just so they could rhyme. Plus he said, "then she can be like Hannah Montana." I wish I could add a gender announcement, but not until 20 weeks. So, we will keep you posted...

Nice weekend

Does anyone else look forward to Conference weekend like I do? Sure, I am always excited to hear the talks, etc, but I really do love not having to get ready to go to church, and lounge around all day. Our ward doesn't even start until 1:00 on Sunday, so getting ready is no big deal, but it is just nice to have a day off. Riley even had an early soccer game on Saturday, so we were home before the first session started. I actually really enjoyed the sessions this time, and got a lot out of them. The kids had a bunch of activities to stay busy and quiet, and they did really well- relatively. I love Conference weekend.

Fun time

If anyone wants a free, fun for kids, quick little outing, go to Engh Gardens on 700 E. 8214 So. It is a flower nursery, but they turn a section of it into Halloween every October. They have a cute hay maze for kids, a Pirate ship you can climb on, and tons of pumpkins, etc... for cute pictures. My kids love going each year. It is great because you could be done after about 20 minutes, and they get their feel of the festivities. It really is cute, and my kids had fun going w/ their cousins on Thursday.

Happy Birthday to ME!!!

Mine and Riley's b-day's are just two days apart. I guess the best gift I have ever received was bringing him home from the hospital on my birthday. I was happy that Tyler was back from his business trip so we could spend the day together.

We have season tickets to the Utah games, so we went to get Sushi at our new favorite little sushi place before the game. If you're into that, this place is SO good! Our friends that we go to the games with had an extra ticket, so Riley decided he wanted to come with us. That meant that he had to come get sushi with us. He loves seafood, so we weren't worried about him, and he actually liked it!! We were laughing because the first thing he tried was the Hamachi (yellow tail fish), and he downed it. He loved it! Let's just hope that he doesn't want it too often, that could get expensive!
We had tons of fun at the game. Riley was a trooper, and loved all the action. His favorite part was the very end of the game when all the bleachers cleared out, so he could run up and down. He danced w/ the band the whole night, and kept us entertained.

I was happy to spend my birthday night with two of my favorite boys!! Thanks for the fun day!

Birthday party!

Riley wanted to have an "all boys" party this year. I hated excluding some of his best friends, that are girls, but hey, the birthday boy gets what he wants. He chose a craft to do at the first of the party. Each boy got a cute sports door hanger w/ his name and foam stickers to decorate. Everybody Smile!! What cute party guests we had!
We did relay races where the kids had to perform a different "event". i.e: Throw the football through the hula hoop, kick the soccer ball through the cones, make a basket in the net, hit two golf balls, etc. They had fun doing it, and were great sports!

I had to recruit Abby, and my two nieces, Ellie and Lillian to be my "helpers". This was an All-boys party remember, so no girls were allowed.
Thanks to my Mom, my friend Mary Ann, and my sis-in-law, Jamie for helping make the party a success!
