Lotoja

This has nothing to do with me, but I have to brag for a second. Lotoja is a huge bike race going from Logan, Utah to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. My brother, Cory rode in it last year, and got a relay team to do it again this year. The race was last Saturday, so Cory, his wife Emily, and another one of my brother's, Kyle, did a relay team. They finished in just over 10 hours.
Here are my bros in all their gettup- Cory in blue, Kyle in red.
Here is the team: Emily, Cory, Zack (Cory's friend), Kyle and my cute nephew Finn.
Way to go guys!! I want to be there with you next year! I haven't done much racing since my last triathlon in Moab. I need to get back in shape!!

Little Getaway

I bought tickets to the Lion King awhile ago, and so we decided to make a weekend of it. The kids LOVED the show, and had a great time- especially since they had their own pair of binoculars!

We got a room at Little America, where we swam, played, rode trax, and just enjoyed being together. I forgot to pack a sleeping bag for one of the kids, so we just turned them sideways so all 3 fit. I brought the Lion King movie and the laptop for them to watch in bed the night before the show.
The kids thought the pool was pretty cool. They loved swimming under the tunnel to the inside pool. It doesn't take much to please kids!
Abby was in heaven in the hot tub.
Off to Iggy's for dinner. The food was so good! My favorite part was the Huge ice cream sundae the kids got w/ their meals. It was yummy!

Jake's favorite part was riding the train of course. Word of advise... always look at the front of the train to see which direction it is heading. We ended up getting on the University-bound train at one point. We had to get off, get on another train to go back to where we started, get off that one, then got on the right train to our hotel. It was a headache, especially with two Very, Tired children!
My boys!

I loved our close little trip. The kids had fun, and didn't even realize that they were only 20 miles from home. It was cheap, fun, and full of good times!!!
